🌑️ 88°F☁️ Thundery outbreaks possible

fished in st augustine this morning, and wow, the weather was crazy! a bit stormy but managed to catch a couple nice redfish around 5lbs. used a live shrimp under a popping cork, they were lovin it! during a downpour, i was just chillin under a tree, but hey, it’s part of the adventure right? saw a few other anglers struggling but i felt like a champ haha. also had some hits on my topwater plug but couldn’t set the hook in time. overall a fun day, even with the thunder rumbling in the background, can't wait to go back! tight lines, y’all!

🌑️ 78°F☁️ Overcast

hit up the surf at cape may this morning. weather was super overcast, felt like a nice chill day. brought my 9' rod with some 30 lb braid and a bunch of fresh sand fleas. the bite was kinda slow at first but once the tide started moving i hooked into 3 nice fluke, biggest was around 24 inches! released a couple smaller ones too. some other anglers were catching blues, but my fluke were a nice surprise. packed up just before sunset. can't wait to go back! 🌊🎣

🌑️ 85°F☁️ Partly cloudy

went out to the river today, the weather was real nice, partly cloudy and warm (like 29 degrees!). caught 5 decent trout, kept 3 for dinner. used my trusty old spinning rod with some powerbait, they were hitting early before the sun got too high. the wind picked up a bit but was chill. had a blast, was nice to be out and just relax by the water. can’t wait to do it again!

🌑️ 88°F☁️ Thundery outbreaks possible

fished the St. Johns River today and wow, what a trip! started around 7am just as the sun was coming up, it was super humid tho. caught 4 reds and a couple of trout, all on live shrimp under a popping cork. the thunder was rolling in but luckily we dodged the worst of the rain. biggest red was around 27 inches – gave me a real fight! ended up calling it a day around 1pm when the wind picked up. definitely gonna hit that spot again, can't beat a day on the water when the fish are biting like crazy! 🎣🌧️

🌑️ 87°F☁️ Thundery outbreaks possible

so we hit topsail island today, thundery skies but we decided to go for it. got out at 7, water was warm and a bit choppy but man did we score! had some live shrimp and tossed em near the jetty. first cast, BAM! caught a nice flounder, around 4lbs. kept at it and ended up with 3 more flounders and a couple smaller reds. my buddy used a popping cork and it was the ticket! wind picked up a bit later but we didn’t care, our cooler was packed! even got to watch the thunder clouds roll in, kinda epic but we made it back before the rain. great day overall, can't wait to go back tomorrow!

🌑️ 80°F☁️ Cloudy

man, what a day on the captree princess! cloudy but no rain, thank god. we hit the water around 6, just before sunrise. the fish were biting pretty early. ended up with a decent haul – 15 fluke and a couple of sea bass. used squid and some gulp bait, they were all about it. wind picked up a bit by noon, made it a lil choppy but we held our ground. saw some guys struggling but we kept at it. the vibe on the boat was great, everyone laughing and swapping stories. guess it was just one of those days, you know? went home with a nice cooler full. can’t complain at all! planning to hit it again next week! 🎣

🌑️ 69°F☁️ Cloudy

fished out on Lake Ontario today, cloudy skies but it was real peaceful out there. started around 6am, water temp was nice at 20C. I got 4 lakers, biggest was around 10 lbs! used my trusty downrigger with silver spoons, they were hitting hard. wind picked up a bit but it felt good. had a few missed bites too, but overall super fun day on the water! gonna hit it again this weekend, can't get enough of this! 🎣

🌑️ 71°F☁️ Mist

Hey everyone, went out to tracy delta this morning around 6am, misty and kinda chilly but felt nice. I decided to try my luck with some live minnows since the wind was picking up. Caught a couple of small catfish, like nothing massive but they were fun to reel in! Ended up keeping one that was about 2lbs for dinner. Used a medium action rod, 15lb test line, and a simple slip sinker rig, that did the trick. The bite was slow but just being out there, watching the sunrise, and hearing the water was totally worth it. Hoping to get back out soon, maybe at sunset next time. Tight lines! 🎣
