Captain Mike Pritchard called in from aboard the Tribute to update SportfishingReport.com on it's current trip. We have around 35 Yellowtail and 35 Yellowfin Tuna for the day. We have a very light load today of only 11 anglers. And we have 65+ fish so far. We are still fishing.

Captain Ryan Bostian called in with the Coronado Island reports. Today we went out with 36 passengers 43 Yellowtail. There are two bodies of fish out at the islands. There is a school of 23 to 30 pounders and another school of 11 to 17 pounders. The fish are biting the fly-lined sardines and mackerel. And for those who like fishing iron the surface iron is working too. The San Diego departs daily from Seaforth Landing in Mission Bay. Hello Everyone, Today we fished for trophy Yellowtail and Wahoo. The yellows were biting good but most were able to get int the rocks, or get eaten by waiting sharks. We did manage to land some trophy Yellowtail as well as a single large Grouper. There were less sharks later in the evening so we were able to land more Yellows at night. There was very little Wahoo sign as we were driving around, we did manage to troll up one. We stopped fishing around midnight and started traveling up. We will see if we have time to fish tomorrow or the following day, depending on the speed we are making. Will Report again tomorrow , Team Supreme

Choppy seas turned into a flat beautiful ocean. We think the fish liked it as much as we did. 76 yellowfin 75 skipjack for our 38 passengers.

Today we scoured the zone we had been seeing our tuna and today they were nowhere to be found. Hoping they show themselves again tomorrow. 16 yellowtail 3 dorado 59 bonito 1 skipjack.

We got a little bit of something throughout the whole day. Everywhere we went we got yellowtail, but no real bug hits. Our morning bite had great quality but not as many as yesterday. Our weather is still good because of the island. Tomorrow we will be in open water on patties looking for dorado, tuna and yellowtail. Great fresh yellowtail and shrimp scampi for dinner. Another great start today. The Yellowtail are biting extreme well. It was a great couple hours of fishing to start the day. 

After we had enough inshore fishing we decided to head offshore to look for Bluefin. We were able to connect later in the day, with 5 Tuna up to 40 lbs. 

Tough conditions offshore, hoping the tuna will bite better soon.
