Hello Everyone, The weather was pretty rough last night and is still pretty choppy today. It does not look like we will have time to fish today. Yesterday fishing was so good, we were able to enjoy the fruits of our labors with some freshly filleted yellowtail for today's lunch. 20- 30 lb fresh yellowtail for lunch, doesn't get much better than that! We will be in San Diego tomorrow bright and early tomorrow morning. Will report again then, Team Supreme

Reed Fiori checked in tonight with an audio update for The San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing. Today we had 24 anglers catch 52 Yellowtail and 20 Bonito. We had plenty of opportunities today. The Yellows are currently down deep. We are catching them with heavy YoYo Jigs. Bee sure to use a large monofilament top-shot. We are also getting some fish on the dropper loop too. Captain Ryan Bostian called in today to let everyone know that they will be changing focus from the offshore grounds back to the Coronado Islands. The last week the offshore bite has slowed down while the Yellowtail fishing at Coronado Islands has picked up. Please be sure to bring all your Yellowtail gear. We are starting these trip tomorrow.

28 Yellowtail, 2 Yellowfin Tuna, 47 Skipjack Tuna, and 3 Dorado.  Picked and scratched a few mixed fish but never found the big school we were looking for.

April 20, 2024 mexico beach fl Fishing Report

Hard to beat the day we had yesterday, but we did.

We improved the already outstanding trip we have going with a taste of wahoo. Found a little honey hole and caught a fair amount on several drifts. When that tried up a few hours later we anchored up and had good tuna fishing from three until dark. The tuna were 25-40 lbs with some in the 70 lb. class. We'll stay the night and will fish half day tomorrow.

Today was a rigging day. We spent most of the day rolling down the line. During our travels we hit a patch of water that was incredibly blue and clean. In that stretch of water we managed to land one Dorado. A nice surprise. Aside from that it was a very leisure travel day. Tuna and Wahoo are in our sights for tomorrow.
