today was wild, heavy downpours and roaring winds! we still tried our luck, but only got a couple small guys. was fun to be out there just me and the guys from the marina. maybe next time we’ll catch the big ones!
hit the water again, overcast and breezy. managed a few snapper, not huge but decent. used a light tackle setup, love the feel of them on the line! think I’m getting the hang of this whole fishing thing 👍.
fished the backwaters, conditions were a bit rough with rain but caught a couple nice sheepshead. they were biting those fiddler crabs good! nothing like the thrill of feeling that tug. can't wait to go again!
man, heavy rain this mornin but I still hit the waters. landed a nice 6 lb grouper! used a jig I made myself, it was super fun. got soaked but totally worth it. not many boats out today so had the place to myself.
went out to the mangroves again yesterday, caught a couple reds around 22 inches! the rain was light and kinda refreshing honestly. used some cut bait and it worked like a charm. was super stoked!
