back at the pier today, man it was pouring again! wind was wild too, felt like 40 kph. caught a few small fish, couple of flounders but overall the rain kept most folks away. guess i’ll wait for the sun to come back out for some real action!
well, today was a washout. heavy rain and strong wind at the pier kept me from really fishing much. only got a couple skates and called it a day early. got soaked! i guess that's part of fishing sometimes, right? better luck next time.
fished buckroe today and it was partly cloudy, around 80F. caught a nice 5 lb drum, biggest one this season! used a bottom rig with cut bait. saw some dolphins too, super cool sight! gonna tell my buddies about this spot.
overcast day at the pier, but not too bad. caught a couple bluefish early on around 9 am, they were hitting hard on the jigs. wind picked up later, but overall it was chill. still trying to get my first king mackerel tho! next time!
man it poured today! i was at buckroe pier, heavy rain made things tough. managed to catch a few small stripers but nothing worth bragging. my rod got soaked but hey, at least I got out! water temp was nice tho, around 70F. could use more sunshine, lol.
