Atlantic Beach Pier Fishing Report

more rain today, ugh. i thought this would be the day! got wet but did catch a pretty nice size redfish! around 6lbs. used live bait which was the ticket. weather can be rough but when you catch a good one it makes it all worth it. hoping for sunshine soon!

brrr, felt cooler this morn. overcast again, great time for fishing! didn’t catch much, maybe one or two tiny guys but it was so nice just to be at atlantic beach. brought my new rod, a 7’ medium action, it felt good! better days are coming for sure.

rainy day fishing at the pier! not great but caught a couple small sea bass. most guys were skunked tho. i was using lures mostly, felt like i threw my whole tackle box at them. keep my hopes high for next week!

kinda blah weather, some light rain here n there but i still went out. caught a few small blues, nothing to write home about. best part was just being out there. did get a few bites on live bait tho! it was chill, despite the rain.

what a day! heavy rain in the morn but that didn’t stop me. had on my rain gear and fished anyway. hooked into a big drum! probably around 8lbs. used cut mullet, they can't resist it. learned that patience pays off, had to wait in the rain but it was worth it!
