baffin bay Fishing Report 2025

Today was mainly a rigging day. Countless wire leaders were made and assembled by the anglers and crew. We are ready for the day brings tomorrow wish us luck.

Hello everyone, Today was spent prospecting a new area offshore. We were hoping for Tuna, larger Dorado, and Wahoo. Around lunch time we found a large group of Beaked Whales, pretty amazing site seeing the group breaching and swimming close to the boat. Later in the day we did manage to find a dead Pygmy Sperm Whale with a huge Mako shark feeding on it. When we got close it was filled with tons of Dorado. There were a few stand outs that were much larger than the rest, but the majority were similar size as yesterday. We will be trying for Yellowtail tomorrow. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Hey everybody there  is 1 day  charter with spots available  on the voyager this saturday the 23rd!!! Leaving friday night at 9pm  This trip is a freelance trip and will go where the best fishing is available  either coastal or offshore. It is limited load to 16 passengers. 27 yellowfin 21 bluefin 27 yellowtail. Shoulder and belly hooked baits work best when fishing picky tuna. The second picture shows where to place your hook. The baits pictured are also a prime example of what a bad bait looks like, taking your time and selecting a good healthy bait will get you more bites.

Looks like we're going to have a light load for tomorrow's trip. I just talked to a boat out on the ocean right now and they said the weather is good. The large swell is very spread out making the ocean conditions nice. Myself and the crew will be heading out tonight for live squid. Call Seaforth at 619-224-3383 for reservations !

Jody called in with this report for the Apollo out of Santa Barbara, "We are having some excellent Rockcod and Lingcod fishing. We ended up with limits of Rockfish today and 19 Lingcod for 20 Anglers.
