Trip summary so far...

Still having issues with the data link on the sat phone and computer so it's been tough to try to get the reports out. However the fishing is the complete opposite. So far the trip is going perfectly as planned for the fishing. Our first morning we had excellent fishing on good quality yellowtail. From there we went outside and had great fishing on the Dorado and got our limits. The next day we had epic tuna fishing from 22-80 lbs. Our weather has been excellent the whole time. And our food has been no less than great, from the best cheeseburger in the world to the most tender flavorful fillet mignon. We will be hunting the wahoo tomorrow and hope our luck will continue.

The office has one cancellation on the 8-day trip leaving October 5th. And if you want a 10-day, Larry Brown still has open spots on his Oct 25th trip. Come out and join me and Tommy if you can.

Today our 30 anglers were treated to a 6 hour drift which resulted in 33 bluefin tuna from 60 to 100 pounds and 1 twenty pound yellowfin. We managed to keep 1-8 fish hooked at all times. Our bites were coming on 40&50 lb flyline sardines and 130-160 gram Shimano Flatfalls as well as 100 gram Shimano Colt snipers. TIP FROM THE CREW: In order to keep the deck clean and safe. We rinse with a saltwater hose constantly. Wearing rubber boots or waterproof shoes is recommended.

Captain Ray Montera took out 39 anglers today. Final fish count for the day was 6 lingcod 4 sheephead 80 red rockcod and full Mexican limits of rockfish. If you enjoy bottom fishing this is definitely the time for you. As soon as the yellowtail show up the rock fishing will take a back seat.

The Polaris Supreme returned from a 10-day trip with 31 fish over 200lbs! The top fish tipped the scales at 300.4lbs!

Hi friends. Well, our move paid off to go kelping out in right field. We hit a few kelps throughout the day and after weeding through the shaker yellowtail, we were rewarded with some quality yellowtail and dorado currently chilling in the RSW. The gang had themselves a real ball and we're hoping with the good weather forecasted, we'll be able to get on a few schools of tuna tomorrow and finish up the Joe Beck/Bob Vance trip with a bang. We're traveling up the line to hopefully drift up some squid later on tonight. Wish us luck and we'll chat with you tomorrow.

The Apollo returned tonight to Seaforth Landing. We had a good 2 day trip and our group of anlgers caught 45 Yellowtail & 24 Yellowfin Tuna. The offshore conditions are looking up!

Good evening everyone, Today we spent the day, crimping, cutting, wiring, and simply enjoying the ride down the line. Sun in the sky, low winds, and great company. What more can you ask for! We have Wahoo in our sights for tomorrow morning and are making great speed traveling down. We should arrive early tomorrow morning to begin trying for these fish. Today went as planned. We fished yellowtail for a few hours in the afternoon to break up the travel time getting down below. We had to hunt a little but everybody on board got their share of tugging and pulling. We're traveling tonight toward the ridge. We should arrive in the afternoon if we don't stop prior to.
