Oak Island Nc Fishing Report

yikes, it was a washout! heavy rain all day, like who even goes fishing in this? but I still gave it a shot in the morning. didn’t catch anything but I needed the fresh air. better luck next time!

literally poured all day today. we stayed in and just grilled some fish we caught last week. can’t believe how bad the weather has been! hopefully it gets better soon, I wanna get back out there!

OMG it poured today! was at the docks and it was heavy rain, but I caught a nice drum anyway! used a shrimp under a bobber. the rain didn’t stop me from having a good time fishing. real fun!

another day of rain, didn’t even bother tryin to fish. just hung out at the pier with some friends, drank a few and watched the storm roll in. can’t wait for better weather next week!

today was a bit of a bust honestly, heavy overcast and a chill in the air. still tried my luck at the surf with some topwater lures, but only managed a few small bites. guess ill wait for a better day.
