Bay Area Salmon Fishing Report

hit the bay on 5/27, man it was misty as heck! didn’t expect much, but i ended up with a nice 9lb salmon using a pink squid lure. crazy right? the mist was wild but the fish were biting. always love the surprise catches!

5/22 was another overcast day, but i didn’t let that stop me! caught 2 salmon on a blue and silver spinner. nothing massive, both around 7lbs but good fighters! frustrating but still good times with my buddies. can’t wait to go again!

finally had a sunny day on 5/19! got out there early, water was calm! went to my fav spot and used a flasher with a big spoon. landed 4 salmon, biggest was 10lbs. just awesome being out there on such a nice day. love it!

went out with the guys on 5/13, man it was windy! we were kinda worried but we gave it a shot. used some herring and caught a couple salmon but nothing huge. best was 6lbs. still fun times on the water tho. those waves were wild!

5/10 and still no sun! overcast was a bummer but went out anyway. i used a needlefish lure and it paid off! got 2 nice salmon, one was 12lbs. the wind was a bit rough, but i managed to hold my ground. great day overall!
