Tomales Bay Fishing Report

went out on 5/27, mist was still hanging around. not much action today, just 1 tiny perch. weather was chilly, felt like fishing in a fridge lol. but you know what? at least I got to be out on the water! always next time.

So misty on 5/26! couldn't see far ahead. managed to hook a nice salmon! it was probably around 6 lbs. used some herring for bait, which did the trick. despite the mist, the catch made it all worth it. so happy!

man, 5/23 was a tough day... super windy and chilly. caught nothing but seaweed lol. tried everything from lures to live bait. i think the fish were hiding from the wind. just enjoyed the fresh air, but still a bummer!

5/21 was a bit rough, weather was cloudy but we pushed through. managed to catch 4 small black cod with some squid bait. wind was annoying but we had fun just chillin out there, sometimes it’s about the company, right?

had a chill day in tomales bay on 5/20. caught 1 big rockfish and a few smaller ones. the overcast was nice, kept things cool. my buddy got snagged on the bottom, but that’s fishing! we laughed it off. overall, not a bad trip!
