Usa Bodega Bay Fishing Report

a rainy day but still went fishing, what can I say? was using my new rod and reel combo. didn't catch much, just a bunch of little guys but it was fun to practice casting. the wind picked up but we made it work. always good to be outdoors.

got out on the bay early, before sunrise. it was chilly but I brought my coffee to keep warm! caught a beautiful striper just past the main pier using a topwater lure. man, what a thrill when they strike! overcast skies made it feel epic.

fishing trip today was kinda slow. I tried catching some cod but only got a couple bites. the wind was picking up too, which didn’t help. I just enjoyed the overcast scenery and had my buddy's company to keep me sane. better luck next time!

this past weekend was a blast! didn’t catch much, but felt the thrill when something big hit my line. used shrimp for bait and the weather was nice, just a bit cloudy. patience paid off tho, got a decent salmon at the end! my arms are sore, lol.

went out this morning, overcast again. I tried my luck with some swimbaits and bam! landed a few nice cabezon. felt good to be on the water. not too windy, but chilly! kept my layers on for sure.
