20 pass. 33 yellowtail plenty of reds and rockfish. Yo yo lures were the top producers however we did catch a few on flyline sardines and surface iron.

Well guys, we have thrown in the towel on our offshore season. I would first like to start out by thanking everybody who has come out with us this past season. To our loyal regulars, thank you very much for continuing to support us even though we were very crowded at times this past year. To our new customers, I hope we met all your expectations and look forward to fishing with you in the future.

Welcome to the San Diego family. 2012 has been a season I won't soon forget. From starting our season in La Jolla to getting kicked out of the Coronado Islands and then experiencing the best offshore fishing we have seen in years. This past season was a very unique one.

Here are our plans for the next 4 months. Since we are still unable to fish the Coronado Islands, we will be fishing in U.S. waters from the border up to Oceanside. These trips will be available Friday thru Monday and will depart at 7:00 a.m. and return around 4:00 p.m. the cost will be $80. These trips will target a wide range of fish. Yellowtail, white sea bass, calico bass, sandbass, halibut, sheephead, rockfish and rock cod will all be on the menu. I will put together a suggested tackle list in the next few days. We will do everything in our power to make sure we have live squid available on these trips.

Coronado Islands: rest assured that our issues at the Coronado are being worked on tirelessly by both Countries involved. I will keep everybody posted on any new developments. As soon as we are able to return to the islands you will be the first to know.

Today was mostly a travel day. We check around for albacore but the fish were down. The wind picked up this afternoon but we are good south so the ride is fine. This is our second day out on an eight day trip. So we have plenty of time to find the fish.

We have a few open spots on this weekends 2.5 day charter to Colnett and surrounding areas! We had good signal on yellowtail this last trip, and ended up with 55!! To go with wonderful rock fishing and shallow water lingcod!! These trips are set to early depart at 5pm for maximum fishing time!! Capt Ryan Bostain checked in from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing, we went out with 43 anglers today and ended the day with 120 Yellowtail. Today they were from 12 to 28 lbs, with an average around 15 lbs, today they bit mostly on the surface with either a flylined bait or surface iron. We did also manage to get some on the yoyo jig, the ocean is alive down there. Come on down and get you some, make sure you bring a rig for every occasion. See you on the boat.

Hello everyone,

Today we finished with a Rockfish and Giant Lingcod bang. We had excellent fishing on big Reds and large Lingcod . Mixed in were a few large Yellowtail as well. A nice capstone to finish off a great trip. We will be in tomorrow and out for 8 days.
