Stump Lake Fishing Report

last day of may was a blast! caught a lot of trout, around 10 of em. biggest was 3 lbs! used a floating minnow lure, they were all over it. the sun peeked out a bit which made the day even better. can't wait to go back!

fished on the 26th and wow! overcast but the fish were hungry! caught a big ol' bass, 6 lbs! used a topwater frog, worked like a charm. even managed to catch a few smaller ones too. the wind was chill though, but the thrill kept me warm!!

stump lake on the 22nd was a bit gloomy, but managed to hook 3 nice crappies. all were around 1 lb. used a small jig, kinda bright colors to attract em. not too windy but the rain was cold! still worth it tho!

hit the lake on the 13th, overcast skies made for some eerie vibes but the fishing was okay! got 2 nice pike right off the big rocks with a jerk bait. they were heavy, like 4-5 lbs each. took forever to reel em in, what a fight!

yesterday was kinda drizzly at stump lake, but I managed to catch 5 bass! they were hiding in the weeds. used a green pumpkin soft plastic worm. they were a bit smaller, around 1 lb to 2 lbs. still a good time out there tho, gotta love spring fishing!
