hit the sound on the 27th, finally some sun peeking through! water was warming up, nice 8 lb coho came in! used a jig and it was on! we had a good haul, can’t complain. perfect end to the day with a cold drink in hand, that's fishing!
fished on the 26th, hoodie weather for sure! got a nice 4 lb trout, fought like a champ! used a powerbait with a bobber. tried a few different spots but this one was the jackpot. the overcast helped keep the fish coming!
was out fishing on the 23rd, the clouds were thick. didn’t catch much, just a couple of tiny salmon. used my new baitcaster setup, still getting used to it. but hey, just being out there is always worth it, right?
took a trip on the 22nd, really cloudy but hey, no rain! landed a few small perch and a couple flounder. used my light tackle, it's a blast! had fun with the kids, they caught a few too. sunset was super pretty, stayed out late.
on the 21st, it was overcast but we got lucky! got a nice 7 lb halibut, first one of the season! used squid for bait and drifted around for a while. water temp was a bit chilly but fish were biting. can’t wait to go again!
