The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego,CA checked in with us today:

2 yellowtail 18 lingcod 57 rockfish. 8 and half hours of banging our sonar off the rocks resulted in 1 school. Today’s results have zero influence on tomorrow’s.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-16-2016 Hello Everyone,Today we boarded our lets talk hook up 4 day trip with Charter Master Dave Dolan leading the group. As we left the bait barge and cleared the point we wasted no time and started to fish. We ended up landing a couple tuna and a nice yellowtail. A nice way to start the trip with a few fish on the board. We are pointed south, in choppy weather in search of bigger and better things tomorrow.Wish us luck,Team Supreme

Longtime charter company Burgesons Heating and Air experienced a good stop on 18-30 lb yellowfin as well as good Skipjack fishing. Back to open party fishing tomorrow. Please bring a 20 lb rod and a 40 lb rod.

The video game fishing continues. 166 yellowtail on yo-yo jigs and dropper loop sardines.

The Endeavor out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing checked in with us after returning from an Overnight trip with 26 anglers.

Good afternoon Sports fans from the bridge of the Polaris Supreme. So this will be our last travel day report. Starting tomorrow, it'll be test time for the OTR crew, time to let them apply what they've learned in all of our seminars. This morning after breakfast, we gave our final seminar. Tuned the guys up on stand-up fishing, both harness style and using the rail. We also talked about various different styles of kite rigs. There isn't much more we can say, now it's time for hands on and see who payed attention in class.  The rest of the day is just going to be spent fine tuning all of the gear, tightening up any loose ends and getting a good night sleep because tomorrow is game time! The San Diego went out fishing on March 17th with 17 anglers. They caught 15 yellowtail, 3 bonito and 100 rockfish. They had multiple good size schools that did not bite. Perfect weather, fun fishing. Tomorrow’s trip is a definite go with a light load.

Captain Ryan Bostian called in tonight with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. Today we had Mexican limits of Yellowtail for our 37 anglers. We have been fishing offshore and the fish are a fun grade. Please bring your 25 or 30 pound bait rod. You should also be prepared with a heavy rod for bigger Bluefin Tuna. We are starting to see them show up in the counts. Tomorrow's trip is cancelled but we will be back out it Tuesday.
