We're on our way home after an absolutely great day of fishing," said Mike Pritchard. "We ended up with 136 Bluefin tuna, 8 Dorado, 6 Yellowtail and 50 Skipjack. It was very, very good fishing for a 1 Day trip.

"We are leaving on a 1.5 Day trip tonight that is sold out. But there is room on Suday night's 1.5 Day trip. If you are interested give Seaforth Landing a call at 619-224-3383."

Today was a travel day. The weather is good and the anglers are excited to start fishing. Lunch we dined on chicken fettuccine and dinner was veal chop with bacon wrapped asparagus and lobster potatoes. We should be fishing by mid-day tomorrow.

Capt Ray is out today with 30 anglers. Hopefully we can keep our yellowtail streak alive. The weather is forecasted to be very nice this week. Come join us !

  We had a bumpy ride last night.  It was windy.  So we didn't make the best of speed which translates to not having a whole lot of time to fish our last day when we were coming from so far away.  We found our edge pretty quick after daylight and we were getting a few strikes on small tuna but like I said, we didn't have a lot of time to fish it.  We were able to follow it up the line for a couple of hours getting the occasional strike before we had to call it a day and call it a trip.

 

 

  

The weather has been getting progressively nicer throughout the day and now we have a pretty darn good ride.  Everyone is doing what you do on travel days.  We had a nice fish taco lunch and last time I was in the galley the passengers were taking it way back and were watching the  90's classic "Deep Color" movie staring Tommy Rothery and the Polaris Supreme.

  We'll be in bright and early tomorrow and we're going to be turning back around on another 5 day trip.  Tommy will be going home and I'll be taking her out.  Gunny is hanging in there strong like the Marine he is and we're hoping he'll be back within a month.

Hi friends. Yesterday, it was a sad day for Raider nation and eleven years ago today, it was a sad day for our nation. A day that we will never forget and with the sadness and pain came unity and strength. We pay or respects to those lost on September 11th of 2001 and we pay respects to the military --past and present-- that fought for our freedom and still continue to fight today. Thank you, from the Polaris Supreme.

Anyhow, the weather was fantastic. We caught good yellowtail this morning and we had jigs behind the boat for most of the day while we made our way up the line to get setup for tomorrow. We actually had to pull in the jigs on numerous occasions because the football yellowfin were so relentless. We're after trophies now and it sounds like there are some schools of big yellowfin running around. We'll see if we can't get on a school to end our trip on a grand note. Hello everyone, This morning we woke up anchored with hopes of Yellowtail. Conditions were good but we were not able to connect. After that we went looking offshore. Lots of bird and bait life but no incredible volume of Tuna to go with it. We did manage to land a couple. Great weather, headed south for tomorrow. Will Report then, Team Supreme

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-19-2016 #2 Nice day on the Wahoo and fabulous weather. The sharks were gnarly Though. The Polaris Supreme Crew.

Our fishing took a big step in the right direction today. We landed 9 bluefin from 30 to 140 lbs. very good sign of 25-75 pounders. Come prepared with a variety of line sizes from 25-80 lb.
