indian river Fishing Report 2025

Today was one of those days in which our anglers and ourselves will probably remember for the rest of our lives. Not because of the amount of fish we caught, but the tremendous shows these fish put on. It all began this morning when we found a fishy area on our way to a spot in hopes of wahoo, tuna and grouper. We spotted a nice bird school in some beautiful looking water. When it first came into sight, still a couple miles away, we saw some 30lb grade tuna jumping around in the middle of it. When we got up to it, the scene was a bit different. The tuna were pushed off of it by a jumbo school of big stripped marlin. And what a show they put on for us. A couple of our anglers presented their bait or jigs in the right place and the right time and hooked into these big beautiful fish. They where tail-walking and jumping high out of the water everywhere. On top of that, we were constantly seeing free-swimming marlin on all sides of the boat. Some even came within five feet of the boat! There were literally hundreds of marlin around the boat. It was truly a sight to behold! Finally, after battling and releasing all the marlin we hooked, we carried on making our way to one of our spots that has been extremely productive for big wahoo, tuna and grouper the past couple months for us. When we got there we quickly boated a couple handfuls of very nice mid-sized yellow fin tuna. Even though the tuna where present, there was little to no sign of wahoo. All of our anglers having wahoo on their mind, we decided to make our way to a spot about nights run from where we were. We will be there at the crack of dawn tomorrow. Fishing in the morning started slow. Several schools of yellowtail with no success. But by mid-morning things started to happen. They bit well into the late afternoon. The guys released lots of the yellowtail. We then took off off shore for kelp patties with yellowfin, but only found a few dorado. Our weather is good. Tomorrow we are going to go looking for yellowfin. Dinner tonight was Drew's favorite Osso Buso with parmesan potatoes and veggies. Really tasty.

Good evening everyone, Today we started off the day in kelp land. Finding many nice kelps along a nice water color break. One in particular held a slew of different game fish. Dorado, Wahoo, Yellowtail, and Tuna. Most of them where on the small side, but it was still great fun catching such a variety of fish. Later on we were able to slide inside and finish off the day with some coastal Yellowtail. It was great ending the day with a nice hit on the Yellowtail. Biting the iron very well, adding to the fall 10 day variety pack. We are pointed north at the moment trying to cover some ground to make it in on time Wednesday morning. Hello everyone, Today we are supremely sore from pulling on fish. The morning was spent catching a handful of Wahoo, some Grouper, and a bunch of Yellowfin Tuna. When the afternoon rolled around we went looking for Dorado, and found them. It was a excellent grade, and everyone caught as much as they wanted. Very good fishing. We will be targeting Wahoo and Grouper tomorrow. Wish us Luck, Team Supreme

31 bluefin 72 yellowtail. Beautiful weather and some very fun island fishing. Flylined baits on 25lb line, surface iron and yoyo jigs all produced.
