went out for a misty early fishin trip, was a bit weird but kinda cool. i got two nice trout around 3 lbs each. used light tackle, 6lb test line. water was calm, great way to end the week. feelin good!
back at it today with some patchy rain. not much luck only got one tiny perch, but the weather was nice espcially when the sun peeked out. packed up early cause the wind was pickin up too. you win some, you lose some!
saturday was wild out there with heavy rain and wind! we toughed it out and caught a couple of nice walleye, around 5-6 lbs! used jigs and it paid off. came home all soaked but felt like a champion, haha!
fished through some light rain today, it was okay. caught 3 decent smallmouths, around 2-3 lbs each. used some jitterbugs got a few bites before it started pouring again. my gear got a lil muddy tho haha!
yikes! went out and it poured like crazy!! tried to fish but the rain was brutal. still gave it a shot but only got skunked. winds were wild too, just wasn't my day. went home soaked but hey, better luck next time!
