what a day out there! fished burt lake in the afternoon, it was warm and the fish were hungry. got a bunch of bluegills and a nice bass too. used a really light line with some worms. gotta love spring fishing!

finally sunny! went to burt lake and it was so nice out! caught a few nice trout, even a big one at 6lbs! used a silver spoon and they were biting like crazy. this is why i love fishing!

not my best day at burt, only got a couple small ones. the overcast did not help either. tried everything, from spinners to jigs, but no success! planning to come back next week when it’s sunny.

spent the day on burt lake, water felt good. caught 5 decent-sized bass, all on a green pumpkin texas rig. wind was calm and cloudy which made it nice to fish. couldn’t ask for a better day!

burt lake wasn’t too friendly today, super cold and drizzly. only got one small perch for my troubles. used a worm and bobber, but no luck with the other fish. just too chilly, i guess.
