had a day out on black lake, overcast but not too cold. caught a few bluegills and lost a nice bass. used worms, they seemed to prefer that. it’s always nice being out fishing, even if the catch isn’t great!
cloudy skies but i hit the lake anyway. only managed to get 2 crappies, both tiny. using a bobber with jigs. kinda disappointing, but nice to be out on the water. better luck next trip?
back to black lake today, not much happening. it was drizzling and cold at 9C. caught just 1 little perch and lost a good one at the boat. used minnows but they weren’t biting much. maybe next time!
partly cloudy today but wow it was warm! took my kayak out on black lake, caught 7 smallmouth bass, best size was about 3lbs. crankbaits worked wonders. felt like summer, can’t wait to go out again!
so today was a lil weird, it started raining but we still went out. managed to hook 2 really nice walleye, both around 5lbs. used a jig with a leech. i mean, it was pretty chilly but worth it! 😅
