light rain shower today, but wow, caught a nice slab crappie! was using a small jig under a bobber, and the fish were definitely active despite the weather. temp was around 13.2°c, so pretty comfortable for fishing. overall, a good day!
the mist was heavy this morning but that didn't stop me! caught a few bluegills with my ultralight rod. fished from the shore and they were biting pretty good. it was chilly around 6.2°c but got in some good casts!
fishing was a bit slow with the clouds but still managed to get a few trout. used a simple fly setup, caught 3 in about 4 hours. wind kicked up a bit, but it was nice to be out there. temp was around 10°c, not too bad!
got a little wet today while fishing, but it was worth it! landed a nice 3lb walleye and a 2lb bass all within a couple hours. kept switching up between a spinner and some live bait. weather was warm for once too, around 19.2°c.
what a day! bright sunshine on lake charlevoix, finally! went out and got 5 solid smallmouths, all around 2-3lbs! used a purple jig and they were hitting it hard! water felt so much better around 8.4°c, had a blast till sundown!
