woke up to fog on the river and i was itching to get out! it was eerie but super cool. had some good bites on my topwater lure early on, ended up with a couple good size ones. made my morning feel magic!
today was a bit wet, moderate rain showers off and on but we landed some nice fish! I was using my favorite crankbait, 5 nice bass in a few hours, what a thrill! got soaked but worth it!
overcast skies today but decent temp! hooked a nice 4lb trout on a spinner, man it fought hard! felt good to take a break from work n just enjoy nature. cant wait to go back!
yesterday was wild! heavy rains made the river flow pretty crazy. I still wanted to try, so I went out with my waterproof gear. caught a decent catfish which was a surprise but it was fun trying to wrangle it in!
another day of patchy rain ugh, still hit the holston tho. used my new fly rod and man, it was awesome! landed a few nice ones, even had a massive one on but it got away. had fun regardless, maybe next time!
