woke up to fog covering the lake, it was eerie but cool. fished for a couple of hours and caught a few nice bluegills! used a small bobber rig. fog lifted just in time for a beautiful sunset, totally worth the early morning!
fishing was slow today, some patchy rain but still managed to reel in a nice 4lb pike! used a silver spoon. felt like i was losing my luck but this catch made my day. it's all about persistence, folks!
another overcast day but i was feeling lucky! hit the lake at sunrise. got a few nice bites, caught a 3 lb walley right off the bat! used a jig with a minnow, they were biting just under the surface. can’t wait to go back!
out on the lake again, moderate rain all day, but the bites were on! landed 5 largemouths, biggest was 6lbs! used a dark green plastic worm at the drop-offs, worked like a charm. loved the sound of rain on the water, really peaceful.
rain off and on today, but managed to land a couple of rock bass. used a topwater frog during the breaks in rain, they would hit it like crazy! caught a nice 4 pounder, made the wet day worth it. always have an umbrella ready though!
