Captain Ryan Bostian from San Diego Sportfishing out of Seaforth Landing checked in.  Very good Yellowtail fishing at the islands the last couple of days.  Our next available trip is Monday the 27th.  Grab your Yellowtail gear and come join us.  Passports required!

Mike Pritchard called in with this report for the Tribute. "We found a kelp paddy right at grey light this morning. So far we have about 35 Yellowtail and 2 Dorado so far. We'll keep you posted as the day progresses."

Captain Mike Pritchard called in this afternoon to let us know that The Tribute is running an overnight trip departing tomorrow night. We will be fishing the Coronado Islands for Yellowtail. Capt Mike Pritchard from the Tribute called in a trip wrap up for their 1.5 day trip, we had really good fishing and ended with a nice kelp to help us up out Yelowtail and Yellowfin Tuna counts for the trip. Our final count for the trip was 103 Yellowfin Tuna, 101 Yellowtail and 10 Bluefin Tuna and a couple Dorado, we are fishing US waters so we got to keep our Bluefin. The Yellowfin are a really nice grade in the mid 20 lb range and the bluefin were in the mid to upper 40 lb range. We have another overnight trip leaving tomorrow night, hope to see you out there.

Captain Ryan Bostian called in tonight with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego. Today we had a light load of 12 anglers. We decided to move offshore and we had a very good day. We ended up with 60 Yellowtail (LIMITS). We also saw a spot of Bluefin Tuna. But we did not hook one.

If you want to come out with us bring a 25 to 30 pound bait rod. Also bring 40, 50, or 60 pound outfit for Bluefin Tuna. It was about this time last year that we started seeing those nice big Bluefin Tuna.

INCREDIBLE YELLOWTAIL FISHING!!! SAN DIEGO on a wide open bite today. They brought in 108 Yellows & 25 Bonito for 22 anglers. PACIFIC VOYAGER on 3/4 trip landed 85 Yellowtail for 17 anglers. Wow!! Mike Pritchard checked in to let us know that the Tribute catch was now up to 89 Yellowtail. The grade is still in the 10 to 15 lb. range.
