Salmon River Ny Fishing Report

just got back from the river, what a washout! didn’t catch anything today, rain was coming down hard. my rod got soaked, but hey that’s fishing. planning to go back next drier day – they can’t avoid me forever! lol

rain again… but i geared up and hit the river. managed to hook 2 decent salmon, both around 9 lbs. tried a new bait setup with some shrimp flavor – it worked! the river's a bit chilly but still fun. love fishing no matter the weather!

heavy rain today was a challenge but i finally hooked a nice 14 lb salmon! used a nice orange curly tail grub. the water was muddy but they still came out to play. just gotta keep casting and wait it out when it rains this much!

went back to the river this morning, caught 3 salmon! water felt great and surprisingly warm. used a silver spoon because I heard they were hitting that today. small showers kept passing by, but I didn’t care – fish were biting!

fishing was pretty slow today on the river. only caught 1 small salmon. sunny day tho, temps felt nice. tried everything in my tackle box but they weren’t having it. maybe the weather's too nice for 'em? might head back next week when it’s colder
