was pretty wild on the 27th, rain and thunder but I caught 2 channel cats like 3 lbs each! used a stink bait close to shore. felt like the fish were partying in the rain, lol. what a rush!
went back to Blue River after the rain on the 22nd, caught a decent bass despite the showers. used a green worm, they were still biting! water was murky but they showed up. fun day!
what a sunny day on the 20th!!!!!! finally got some nice weather! caught 6 rainbow trout, all around 2 lbs. used a fly rod with some dry flies. nothing beats a sunny day on the river, right?
so went out on the 15th, super overcast but it was warm enough at 23C. only caught 1 catfish but he was a biggy, like 5 lbs. used my new baitcaster, feels good to finally get the hang of it.
fished Blue River on the 9th, weather was decent, got 4 largemouths, biggest was 4lbs! threw a crankbait around the fallen trees. had a blast, felt like they were waiting for me! gonna come back tomorrow.
