best weather in weeks at zippel bay, felt like summer! fished from sunrise using crankbaits and they were hitting hard! caught a nice mix of walleyes and pike, around 10 fish total. ended up staying till sunset perfect way to wrap it up!
fishing was pretty chill today, partly cloudy with a cool breeze. focused on the shallows and ended up with a few decent bass. had my favorite spinner bait, colors were popping! saw some eagles too, always love the wildlife out here!
another solid day at zippel bay even with the overcast skies. caught a bunch of panfish, they were hitting on the bobber with worms. not huge but enough for a nice fry later on. had some good laughs out there with my buddies, that's what matters!
back to zippel bay again, weather was a lil gloomy but still decent. managed to catch a couple of smallmouths. overcast days can be tricky but the fish were biting! smoked a few cigars while waiting for the bites, good times with friends!
absolutely gorgeous day on the lake, sunny skies, i mean what more could you ask for? my buddy and I went out early and ended up with 8 nice walleyes, biggest was like 26 inches. had great luck with live minnows and a bottom bouncer. grilled 'em up same night, sooo good!
