partly cloudy today, but really nice out! caught a mix of bass and pike, nothing super big but had a blast. used soft plastics and they were working well. also saw some eagles! always a good day when you’re out here!
another sunny day at morris point lake! caught a few more walleyes, one was about 5lbs! used a slide rig with live bait, they were hungry. the wind picked up a bit but we had a great time on the water. can’t wait to go again!
not the best conditions today, light freezing rain made it rough. only managed to land a couple of perch, really small ones too. but hey, still nice to be outside even if the fish were uncooperative. maybe next time will be better!
wow what a beautiful day on the lake! sunny and warm, actually got a bit of a sunburn lol! caught 3 nice pike, biggest was like 7lbs. used a spinner bait, they were hitting it right at the weeds. seriously can't beat this place!
partly cloudy today, was a bit windy but we got some action! caught a few smallmouth bass, biggest was around 3lbs. used a crankbait, the bass were chasing it down! feeling good about the next trip, might try early morning next time!
