finally a good day to fish! overcast but way warmer. went back to my favorite spot on the wolf river, caught about 10 perch using a little yellow spinner. pretty chill day on the water and just feeling good. can’t wait for the next outing!
ugh today was rough, weather was super cold & cloudy. i caught a few dinks but nothing worth taking home. used some topwater lures, but they weren’t biting. i almost gave up and went home but my friend kept encouraging me to stay. happy i did, it was nice just being out there.
head out today, skies were gray and kinda chilly. i thought i wouldn’t catch much, but bam! got a couple of nice smallmouths on crankbaits. even with the wind, it was a blast! just wish it was warmer but hey, can’t complain too much!
Man, the rain was coming down heavy when we hit the river. it felt like we were gonna be washed away! but we did pull in some nice pike despite the weather. using buzzbaits, they were hitting like crazy for a bit until the storm got too wild. had to call it quits early but got some decent pics!
cloudy day on the water, felt like temps dropped even lower. i fished with a buddy and we were mainly after bass, caught a few small ones but they were picky as hell. using plastic worms but they just weren’t into it today. really frustrating but we had fun anyway
