Some darn good action on quality Yellowfin once again resulting in 58 Tuna in the 18-35 pound range for our 24 Angler’s today.

Ryan Bostian called in with this report for the San Diego. "We went out on an offshore fishing trip with 18 anglers. We caught full Mexican limits of Yellowtail. We had limits real early in this trip. It took us 2 or 3 kelps to catch the limits. We spent the rest of the day looking around for Tuna or Dorado. We managed to catch 6 Dorado. We saw some Bluefin tuna but we were unable to get it to bite. Things are looking good down here guys. We're fishing 20 to 40 miles from home. The fishing action is right in our wheelhouse in terms of distance.

14 yellowfin tuna and 5 bluefin tuna. Once again, unbelievable amount of tuna in our zone. Most of the fish are strung out on tiny chovies making them very difficult to hook. A dedicated flyliner with 25 lb has a chance at a yellowfin. A dedicated flatfall or sinker rig fisherman with 50 lb has a chance at a bluefin.

Today we had some fun fishing on the small yellowfin (released) and yellowtail up to 22 pounds. Our new guys Jim and Gunnar got the kinks out. Rack of lamb for dinner and off to bed to get ready for some hopefully great fishing tomorrow.

Andrew Viola called in with a wrap up from the 1.5 day trip from the Pacifica out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego, CA.

We saw a good sign of fish yesterday. We picked up 48 Yellowtail and  4 Dorado to go with our 4 Bluefin Tuna.

The Pacifica is back out tomorrow night for a 1.5 day trip fishing offshore for Tuna and Yellowtail. Departs at 9PM.

Captain Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute last night updating us about the 1.5 day trip returning this AM. We had 72 Yellowtail (up to 40 pounds), 13 Bluefin Tuna (up to 30 pounds), and 7 Dorado. We had a great day of fishing here on our Bogart Construction 2 day. There were some slow times but also some fast and furious times! We had great fishing on beautiful Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna. It was a bit crazy at times but tons of fun!
