Captain Aliyar called in with us today from the Polaris Supreme with the first trip of the year scheduled for this Friday.

We have our first 1.5 Day departing on Friday, April 2nd at 6PM. We will be targeting Bluefin Tuna. So if you guys want to come out give us a call or check us out online. We have a bunch of 1.5 Day and 3 Day trips online for April and May. You can give Lindsey a call in the office at (619) 706-3634 and she can answer any questions you may have.

Hi everyone. A fun day was had by all here on the Polaris Supreme. For a while, it was looking rather bleak, but we got on a breezer a little after lunch time and "put the wood on" some Bluefin. That last quotation was a Mark Clark-ism, I don't know what putting the wood on means but he apparently says it when he would like our anglers to hook up and pull on some fish. Well, from lunch time until sun down, they were looking like they all worked at the lumber section of Home Depot. We also had a nice sonar school towards the end of the day that gave us a ripper up until dark. Lots of good times for the boys today here on the Polaris Supreme. All the kids had a blast and we're throwing out the "sack" tonight to hopefully do this again tomorrow. Hopefully, the time of day thing gets straightened out and we have some action in the morning time. We'll chat with you tmorrow.

P.S. The Phrase Is "putting the wood to them" not on them. Thus the Clark-ism variation. The Term comes from a time when your father would make you go to the wood pile to pick your own piece of lumber to spank you for lipping off or what ever you did wrong. So we spanked the tuna, put a hurt on them, or put the wood to them! Tommy.

 

 

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in this evening with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay, CA. Today we had 23 passengers catch 27 California Yellowtail, 55 Barracuda and 1 bonito. Very good mixed bag fishing. This is a good opportunity to fish on an uncrowded boat and also enjoy good fishing.

Hello Everyone, We are still marching up the line here making good speed. Our ETA to the dock is 6 am tomorrow morning. Another great Billy Stephens Charter in the books. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-22-2016 Today fared out to be a very productive day for our efforts. From shortly after sunrise clear til the end of the day, we kept a pretty consistent bite going. There was a couple lulls here and there, but all and all, there wasn't much down time to lose interest. The grade of fish was more than acceptable, staying pretty consistent at he 15-20 lb range. Not much more to ask for usually always having a least a couple going. With that type of fishing, there were very few fish lost due to tangles and so forth. All and all there was no complaints. Tonight we head out to see what tomorrow brings. We'll check back in tomorrow and until then, this is the Supreme Crew out. Tight lines and tails up, Team Supreme

Good Morning Everyone, Today we had great Dorado fishing! Lots of small grade Yellowtail and Tuna as well. Not Seeing much in the way of Wahoo, even though the conditions look great. Hoping we find those Wahoo tomorrow, Team Supreme

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in a few minutes ago with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. We have been fishing the Coronado Islands recently with light loads. Today we had very good fishing. We had 11 anglers catch 28 Yellowtail. The fishing offshore has been tough!
