finally some nice weather on the 24th! went to lake samammish with my buddy, caught 3 nice kokanee, biggest one was 3.5lbs! used downriggers with some spoons, they were hitting hard. sun setting over the lake was beautiful, what a way to end the day
overcast again on the 20th but i went to the interurban trail section of lake wa. caught 4 perch, nothing huge but still fun! they were biting on grasshoppers i found along the bank. packing up was a bit messy but overall a fun day out with friends
was out on the 18th, had patchy rain but still got lucky with a nice 5lb rainbow trout. used a float with a piece of corn, fished from the shore at azure lake, it was kinda peaceful after the rain, actually enjoyed it. bonding time with nature
seriously, the rain on the 17th was unreal! i almost turned back but pushed on and caught a massive 6lb catfish! fished off the pier with cut bait, and wow what a thrill. it was worth the wet socks, lol!
man it rained like crazy on the 15th, still went out tho. got soaked but did catch a couple of smallmouth, around 2lbs each. used a jig under the docks, it was a fight to keep my line tight with the wind and rain! but hey, that's fishing right?
