finally! a nice day at fishtrap! partly cloudy and warm, we hit the water early. i caught 3 awesome bass, biggest was 7lbs! used a crankbait and the fish were just biting like crazy. we walked around the lake for a bit too, great day out. definitely going back soon!
patchy rain made for a bit of an unpredictable day, but me and my partner got out there anyway. fished for a few hours, and i caught a nice 4lb trout using a soft plastic. it was exciting! saw some others catching small ones too. still love the vibe at fishtrap, even if the weather’s moody!
fished fishtrap again today, man it was chilly! felt like the fish were still hiding. tried a few lures, got nothing, but my buddy caught a couple nice little perch on worms. i think i need to switch it up next time, maybe go with a different bait or something, y’know?
hey everyone! fishtrap was pretty quiet today, lots of rain still. i tried my luck with some jigs but didn’t have any bites, just got soaked instead lol. it’s tough out there but I did see a few folks reeling in small ones. some days are good, some not so much!
yo! another rainy day! went back to fishtrap, didn’t expect much but boom! got a solid 6 pounder on a buzzbait. the wind was kinda crazy too, felt like they were really hungry today! only fished for a few hours but it was worth it. can’t wait to get out there again!
