overcast but really nice day on the lake! caught a couple of nice trout, around 2 lbs each, with a powerbait setup. the fish were hungry today, had them biting pretty good! love these long days with the sun setting late
back to spirit lake with my buddies, moderate rain but we were all in! caught a few smallmouths, biggest was about 3 lbs. used plastic worms and it did the trick. wish it was sunnier tho, but still had a blast!
heavy rain at times today made it tough. only managed to catch 2 small trout, but they were nice ones around 1.5 lbs. used a spinner and it worked well despite the weather. always good to be out even when it gets wet!
another day of fishing! had patchy rain again but was worth it. got a huge 5 lb pike today, hit on a crankbait! but it was super windy, making it hard to control the boat. still, the fish were biting and it was a thrill!
fished in the morning, got a bit of patchy rain but we were determined! caught a decent 4 lb bass using a green jig. lots of small bites, but ended up with a nice catch. spirit lake never disappoints even with the drizzle!
