another day of possible rain but it ended up being alright. caught a big sheepshead today, surprised me! used some shrimp and it was one of those perfect moments out there on the water just chillin. can't wait for the next trip!
hit the bay again, patchy rain but we braved it! we got some mackerel, the bite was decent with a few missing strikes. had a blast even if it poured a lil. just love being out there no matter the weather!
fished upper tampa bay in the overcast today. was a bit slow at first, but then got lucky and hooked a couple of big jacks! they were all around 5lbs. used a topwater plug and it was awesome seeing them strike.
today was rough lol, had the boat out but we got hit by some pretty heavy rain. only caught a few catfish. didn't even bother with the bigger gear, just my ultralight setup. still had fun just being out on the water!
finally a sunny day on upper tb! I went out with my son and we brought in a bunch of snapper, like 10 or so. we used jigs mostly and they couldn't resist! temp was nice and we had a blast. just wish we could fish every day.
