man, today was a trip and half! the heavy rain made it tough but we were determined. hit up the texas coast around 7am, rain was pouring but it calmed down a bit. fished with my buddy on his boat, used some live shrimp on a jig head. around 10am, i finally hooked a solid 23-inch redfish! felt like ages since i felt a good tug. wind picked up a bit but we didn't let that stop us. caught a couple more smaller ones too. honestly, the rain kept most folks off the water so we had the place to ourselves! by 1pm we were soaked but happy. good times! tight lines yβall! π§οΈπ£
