Polaris Supreme Trip Update 11-28-2018 Today was one of those days you want somebody to slap you just to make sure you're not sleeping/dreaming. Excellent fishing on 62 to 100 pound grade yellowfin tuna. The seas were calm but it was pretty windy at times today. Make sure you guys brings a jacket next trip! Conditions were tough with a steady uphill current into the wind all day. The passengers managed to pull it off though with a beautiful catch. We have one more day to give this a try and are hoping the weather man is wrong about the ride home on Friday to Ensenada. It looks gnarly! The Polaris Supreme crew!

Hello everyone, Today we spent another day targeting quality Wahoo and school sized tuna. We did great, picking at the Wahoo the majority coming on live bait. The bombs and jigs seem somewhat dormant at the moment, but we're not complaining because fish are coming aboard! At times there is an incredible amount of life out here. From the Wahoo, Skipjack, Yellowfin, Triggerfish, and more. The volume of life makes it difficult to hook the targeted Wahoo and bigger Tuna. So there is quite a bit of weeding out of the small yellowfin and other species in order to get what we came here for. Aside from Tuna and Wahoo we had an unexpected jag of Dorado swim through today. We landed a handful of the larger models to add to the fall variety pack here aboard Polaris Supreme. We are heading up tonight in hopes of a Yellowtail topper tomorrow morning. Wish us luck! Hi Anglers

Well I tried to get a hold of Drew since four this afternoon to no avail. And that's usually a good thing...and indeed it was. Finally at seven he picked up and said he was getting them good. He had 117 bluefin, and it was all that nicer 25-35 lb. grade. It's amazing this fishing has been going on since June. I hope I don't jinx myself here, but it looks like we're heading for a record year here on bluefin.

20 passangers, 16 Yellowtail, 46 Bonito, 100 Rockfish. It’s not easy. But if you are willing to grind the full size yo-yo lure on every stop you may just have a very good day.

Really wanted to bite today. Limits for passengers and crew, then we released them for an hour. Yes, we actually had to let Bluefin go. 

I have yet one more opportunity for someone to jump on with us on a great charter. This trip is a 2-day trip fishing Thurs. and Fri. June 19-20. This is a very light charter and only fishes with 12 or 15 people. If you are able to go, you might find yourself becoming a permanent part of a very special charter on a regular basis.
