another rainy day out, but I went anyway and caught a nice 6lb catfish! used some worms, they were biting more than I expected. got soaked but hey, it's always worth it. fishing is life!
heavy rains today but I still took the chance, caught a couple of small bass - nothing huge tho. they were around 1.5lbs. fished with a crankbait, the current was strong but it was fun. just love being out there ya know?
finally a sunny day! hit the river early and it was amazing. got a few good trout, around 4lbs each. used a fly rod and some dry flies. sun was shining, the water was perfect. can’t ask for more than that!
just got back from the river, conditions were still wet but the fish were biting! caught a few smallmouths, biggest was 3.5lbs. caught them on a spinnerbait, worked like a charm in the shallow spots. feelin' good!
fished today in the rain, and you won't believe it but I pulled in a 7lb bass! used a topwater lure, man it was wild. the rain kinda kept everyone else away but I love the solitude. remember to bring a raincoat!
