YELLOWTAIL ARE BITING!!! SAN DIEGO on a 3/4 day trip scored 48 yellowtail along with 41 Sand Bass,18 Barracuda & 2 Calico. PACIFIC VOYAGER from a 2-day trip sacked 131 Yellowtail, 17 Sand Bass & 15 Barracuda. NEW SEAFORTH on half day trips took in 7 Yellowtail, 123 Baracuda, 3 Halibut along with some Bass, Sculpin & Rockfish. Twilight trips still getting some giant Squids.  Good afternoon, on our final afternoon of the 7th Annual Blue-White Industries Charter.  I'm looking out the window of the wheel house while I write you guys at just amazing weather and waiting for another beautiful sunset. This was by far the best trip yet that Robin has put together.  The fishing ended with a day that was second to none. Just about picture perfect weather, fishing that boiled down to if you wanted a limit of Yellowfin tuna, you could have had it. Most of the guys were catching and releasing long before lunch time. You couldn't ask for it to be any better!  I've personally been on every trip that Robin has put together, and we saw total improvement since the first year. The guys work great together at the rail, followed their fish, and even handled almost all og their own tackle rigging needs. I was impressed at how far they've come. Way to go guys!
 Robin asked me to share some notes from himself personally so I shall. "This 5 day Charter was perhaps our most interesting trip yet. Non-stop yellowfin tuna fishing in 100% American waters. Daily jackpot fish were all over 30 lbs. The Polaris Supreme is by far the finest run long-range sportfishing boat in the San Diego fleet. 5 staruisine, top tier crew Captain TommyRothery, 2nd Captains Tommie "Gunny" Miles and Jed Scott, deckhands Mark Clark and Mikey Mays, and galley crew Chef David Schooler and last but not least Gringo". 
 So for the final night cuisine Chef is preparing a roasted rosemary organic chicken with white wine gravy, mashed potatoes and French cut green beans with mushrooms followed by nice big hot-fudge sundae to end it. We certainly do not go hungry around here. We certainly can't forget the wine of the evening, 2011 Argyle "Nut house" Pinot Noir.
  So in closing, we missed all who couldn't make back on this final Blue-White Charter, although there are some rumors of some future outings with some of the guys, but we shall see. But On behalf of myself and the rest of the Polaris Supreme crew, with thank Charter Master extrodanaire Mr. Robin Gledhill and his sons Rob and Taylor for 7 amazing year on the boat!

Marlin In the Mix! Today we worked our way up and had a few hours to fish for some Yellow Tail. We did connect with some beautiful 18-22lbers, also mixed in were nursery sized 4-8 pounders that were released. A great pit stop for some quality fish! Pictured is an airborne Striped Marlin we hooked yesterday mixed in with the Tuna. Amazing how much life was around! Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

Hi friends. Just a real dandy of a day for us today. We started it out in the morning with the yellowtail snap and then we followed it up in the afternoon with Monday night footballs. The footballs were all you wanted and we also added a small handful of dorado to our days count. We did all of this in flat calm conditions and the boys are all wore out from the excellent fishing that we had today. Everybody's pumped and I screamed myself hoarse today.

For tomorrow, we're looking for tuna with a little more size as one of our code boats had a nice afternoon on those premium grade offshore yellowfin tuna so we'll be in the area looking around for a few ourselves. The boys enjoyed a twenty-two year old Cabernet sauvigon tonight and I think Robin and Wayne might have shed a tear together while talking about it. I still haven't had any but the dudes looked pretty glossy-eyed so I imagine it was pretty darn good.

Anyhow, the Blue/White gang is having a super duper fantastic time catching fish, drinking cocktails/wine, and eating Chef Shawn's culinary creations. Our weather forecast is looking good for tomorrow so hopefully we can get on a big ole' school of big yellowfin. Wish us luck.

Capt Ryan called in from the San Diego, they wanted everyone to know the are still fishing offshore. Today we ended the day with 105 Yellowfin Tuna and a handful of Dorado, a few Yellowtail. The fishing is still great down here, we need a few more to make tomorrows trip a go, our loads are light and the weather and the water is perfect. We depart everyday at 5:30am and return around 5pm, to book a spot give the landing a call at 619-224-3383 and get in on this action. Come on down and see us at Seaforth landing.

POLARIS SUPREME TRIP UPDATE 09-27-2020 We had a good day scratching at small grade Yellows and Tuna with a few grouper thrown in. We are off to look for premium Yellowtail tomorrow. The Polaris Supreme Crew!

Wow, absolutely phenomenal fishing on the wahoo today. We fished daybreak to dark in two main spots. Wahoo everywhere we went. Lures, bombs, bait and trolling all worked. The anglers had a fantastic time in nice calm weather. We will be checking out a couple spots tomorrow and have another full day to fish the wahoo. Today Jeff prepared wahoo enchiladas for lunch and he absolutely nailed it. They were sooo good. Wish us luck for tomorrow. Thanks, Tommy and crew
