went out despite the stormy forecast. had a few thundery moments but lucked out with a couple small mouth bass! it was a wild time, felt like an adventure. fought through wind but hey, the thrill made up for the bumps!
perfect sunny day out! caught a couple of 14 inch rainbows on a yellow rooster tail, hit right at sunset. can’t beat that feelin’ ya know? also saw some crazy birds diving in the creek, nature is just so wild. loved every minute.
overcast skies but it didn’t stop me from snagging a few nice cuts today! used a light tackle setup and they were biting on nymphs mostly. felt like i was in a movie, the creek was so peaceful and scenic. completely worth the trip!
what a gorgeous day on the creek! sunny and warm, finally. i landed a 2lb brown trout with a dry fly – my fave. even met a few other anglers out there, we chatted a bit. feels good to be back on the water, can’t wait to keep this going!
poured rain all day, but I went anyway! only caught a few small ones, they were hiding well. had my rain gear on but still got soaked! it's tough out there but sometimes ya gotta fish through the storms
