was a nice partly cloudy day today, got out there and tried a new spot! I ended up catching a couple decent salmon, biggest was around 9lbs. used a green crankbait, they seemed to love it! feeling lucky for the next trip!
this morning was misty but still worth it. caught a couple small salmon, nothing huge but it was nice just being out there with the fog rising off the water. used a spinner and it worked ok. hope for better luck next time!
beautiful sunny day on the river! the temp was perfect at 13 degrees. I landed 3 salmon, one was a chunky 10lber! I used a pink jig, and they couldn't resist. the sunset was stunning too, made the trip even better!
fishing was a bit slow today, overcast skies and all. but I finally hooked into a 5lb salmon using a live bait. the weather held up, and honestly, just being out there was enough! love this river.
man, today was a muddy mess! heavy rain all day, but I persisted. didn’t catch anything until later in the afternoon when I switched to a black and silver lure. finally landed a 6lb salmon. not ideal, but hey, any day fishing is a good day right? haha
