Long Drive Big Reward! Today we had a great day of fishing. We had quite the variety today, and they were all great grade! We had a few big Dorado on a jumbo kelp, and when we finally got settled in we were able to catch some great grade Yellowtail and Yellowfin tuna! We will try another spot tomorrow. Wish us luck!

We have an open charter leaving Friday May 27th from Sea Landing in Santa Barbara, fishing May 28th and 29th. Limited to 20 people and the cost is $400 and that includes all meals. Please contact Alan Kato at 562-818-6563 to sign up.

Captain Mike Pritchard checked in at 8:15 AM with an audio update from the Tribute out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. We have been drifting since 6:30. We have 8 or 9 hanging right now. We have had a bunch of casualties due to old line or locked up drags. We have had some quality action so far today. Our next trip is a light load. Come on out fishing with us for trophy Bluefin Tuna.

Hello Everyone,
Today we were able to check everyone off on the Wahoo list. Everyone on the boat has at least one Wahoo! We are pumped about that. There was a nice shot on 20-30 lb tuna in the dark this morning, but as the sun rose the Tuna Stopped biting. Aside from the Wahoo we landed one nice Grouper to add to the mix! It ate a baby Yellowfin! Crazy!

We are underway in gorgeous weather. Our bait we picked up at the receiver is perfect 6-8 " sardines. We have eight anglers on board. George, Craig, Al, Bobby, Scott, Sheridan, Tom, and Roger. Our crew is Captains tommy, Drew and Kevin. Our deck crew is Mike, Dave and Perry, and our chef is Javier. All the boys are napping right now after a delicious chicken breast with plum sauce for lunch. We will be traveling for at least two days before we start fishing, so don't expect anything but naps, rigging and food reports for the next few days. Hope you all had a great Christmas!

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-05-2016 Hello Supreme Fans. Our day started off Early in the gray light, but with much bigger fish around the boat. Some of the bluefin tuna we saw blowing out were well over 150 pounds! We had our fair share of hook ups and heart breaks throughout the day most of the time we had 3 to 4 fish going. Rob Gledhill had one on close to 3 hours only for it to gain it's freedom right next to the boat! Gary Jones was one of the lucky ones. After a long hard battle he lands one that taped out at 91 pounds! We have really gotten worked over the last two days on this big fish. It is really hard to hook them on anything heavier than 50 pound test, you fight them for long battles and then after a half an hour to two hours you lose it and have to start all over again. We are definitely getting our butts kicked. It's really some fun fishing, the catching could be a little bit better. Wish us luck as we plan to do battle again tomorrow with the mighty mean bluefin tuna. The Supreme Team!

Hello everyone how about a little recap of our seven day AHI Charter. We spent two days traveling down to the hot Wahoo grounds in absolutely beautiful flat, whether enjoying the company of all of our good friends old and new! From there proceeded to have some of the most awesome Wahoo fishing for the next three days with a few hundred football yellowfin tuna and a handful of quality Dorado thrown in. The next day we spent scrounging around for a shot at giving everybody a chance to catch a yellowtail. And here we are today traveling up and doing what we always do on the last day hanging out telling stories taking naps and oh yeah we have Wi-Fi so burning up megabytes on Mexicans tell cell. We will be into the dock tomorrow morning and unload our beautiful catch. If you got a chance swing by the landing at daylight and take a peek. Thank you charter master Dallas Lamb and Vance Willer for putting together a great group of guys and a super fun experience for everyone. The Polaris supreme will be at the dock until November 6 doing boat work and then we will depart on our limited load 10 day trip with Jim Holman and the boys! We still have room for four or anglers if you would like to join us November 6 for some of the most impressive Wahoo fishing we have ever seen in the fall. Hi folks. Short day for Drew, Tommie, Mark, Jamie and myself as all we did today was drill zinc plates and tarp off the boat to prepare for the painters to spray the strontium on the bare aluminum today and the primer tomorrow. The vinyl lettering was applied to both sides of the bow and the stern today. From the looks of it, we've gone back to the old school font and color ...scheme. Instead of the lighter blue and orange which has been on the boat for the past six or seven years, the Supreme has gone back to a "royal blue" which looks moe like navy blue and orange. Things are starting to shape up and with the bait tank, bus stop and inside bulwarks hopefully being completed this week, we're looking forward to the end of our stay here in National City sometime next week.

Anyhow, short day for us today, an off day for us tomorrow for painting, and we'll be back at it on Wednesday for, you guessed it: more sanding. Take care and hopefully, everybody's Monday is treating you all kindly.
