today was a chill day on the river, even tho it was overcast. caught some sunfish and a few nice crappies. it was quiet but nice to just hang out and fish. gear was simple, just a light rod and some jigs. good way to unwind!
rainy day fishing, didn’t expect much but turned out alright. got a couple of smallmouth and a surprise walleye! used my favorite white chatterbait, they seemed to love it in the current. the rain didn't ruin the fun!
fished today, overcast conditions but we had a blast! caught a good sized pike, used a medium diving crankbait. water temp felt fine. the fish were a bit shy, only landed a couple, but still a good day
went fishing on the potomac with my buddy after some light rain. we managed to catch a few smaller bass and one decent catfish. was nice weather overall, but kinda slow. had a few good laughs tho, so all good!
well, today was tough! rain kept coming down, and fish just weren’t biting. I tried everything, spinners, jigs, nothing worked. only got a small perch after hours. might skip the rain next time.
