Pamlico River Fishing Report

another overcast day, hit the river with my buddy. fished for most of the afternoon, and we got a couple of small mouth bass. nothing huge but just being out there was nice. also saw a deer drinking at the riverbank, pretty neat!

it was a chilly day on the river, but i casted a few times and caught a 3lb catfish right off the bat! felt like a champ. kept casting but the bites kinda slowed down. still had fun with the fam, played some tunes while waiting for the next catch.

overcast but still went for it! wind was pickin up but we found a spot outta it. caught a mix of speckled trout and drum. used my favorite gulp baits, seriously works like magic. the weather got a bit crazy near the end tho, had to head back early.

cloudy day on the pamlico, water was a lil choppy but we still managed to catch a few flounder with some shrimp. felt like every time i casted, i was pulling up mud, but got lucky and pulled a nice 2.5 lb flounder!! yesss! everyone in my boat had a good time bonding, tho.

Partly cloudy but warm, perfect day to be on the water. I went solo today and got a solid 5lb bass on a green frog lure! was stoked, haven't caught a big one like that in ages. also saw some turtles sunbathing haha, they were judging me.
