last day fishing was a blast! still overcast but i didn’t care, pulled in 5 nice flounders. caught them using gulp baits on a jig head! they were hungry, felt like every cast was a good chance. can’t get enough of pamlico sound!

went out this morning, overcast skies but perfect temp for fishing. had a great run with a few nice sized specks! used a gold spoon, they love it in the murky water. got 6 in total, so happy with my haul today! feeling good.

fished today in warmish weather, even with the rain. didn’t catch much, only 1 small trout but it was fun just being out there. wind picked up a bit later but it’s all part of the adventure. next time, i’ll hit the deeper channels!

yikes it was pouring today. still, i took a chance at pamlico and got lucky with 2 drum, one was 25 inches! used cut bait in the deeper spots. it was a challenge with the rain but nothing beats the thrill when you feel that tug! can’t wait for clear skies.

another rainy day out there, but the fish were biting! caught 4 more flounders and a couple of small redfish. used muddy waters jigs and they were eatin it up! a little windy too but i love the chase. can’t wait to go again!
