Man, today was a killer day out on the water! Got out early around sunrise, and the weather was just perfect, sunny and warm. We headed about 20 miles offshore looking for mahi-mahi, and boy did we hit the jackpot! Used a couple of live baits on the downriggers, and within the first hour, we were reeling in some nice ones. Caught 5 mahi averaging about 10lbs each. The fight was insane! Even caught a small wahoo, like 8lbs. The wind picked up a bit later but we didn’t care; the fish were on fire! Oh, and the crew cooked up some fresh ceviche after. Can’t beat that! Best day fishing in a while, for sure. Can’t wait to go again next week!
