hey everyone, today was an interesting day out there off Atlantic City. we set out around 6am with the overcast skies and a bit of wind, but the water was decent. caught a few nice fluke in the morning, biggest was about 5lbs, which was a thrill! used a simple bucktail jig with a gulp tail, seemed to do the trick. after that it got a little slow, maybe the wind picked up too much? tried our luck with some sea bass but they were being stubborn. ended up moving around a bit, found a small spot that had some lively activity and pulled in a couple more keepers. overall not a bad day, just nice being out there. gonna hit it again with the crew tomorrow, hoping for better luck! π£
