7 yellowfin 47 yellowtail 5 dorado 5 skipjack. Never got a shot at a legitimate school today. Try again tomorrow.

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in this afternoon with an update from “The San Diego” out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay! Today we had 44 anglers catch 68 Yellowtail and 2 Bluefin Tuna. Our Bluefin Tuna were very nice grade today. We had on fish weigh 86 pounds and another at 103 pounds. In addition, we lost a few other jumbo Bluefin Tuna. The hot ticket today was a flat fall fished on 60 or 80 pound test.

Captain Tucker McCombs called in this afternoon with a wrap-up from the Endeavor out of Hook's Landing in Oxnard, CA. We had limits of Seabass today in the 15 to 25 pound class. The fish were biting pretty good today. We are booked up throughout the weekend but we have plenty of room next week.

Good times were had by all on the Prevost private charter. Light line live bait rigs and small colt snipers connected with 57 yellowfin tuna and 2 bluefin tuna.

Hello Everyone, Today we had incredible Striped Marlin fishing! Everyone hooked one, and at one point the crew counted 20 marlin hooked up, out of 22 people. Simply wide open. In addition to the Marlin we were able to land a few nice Grouper and Tuna. We will make a move in the night and hopefully be in Tuna and Wahoo Country tomorrow. Will report then, Team Supreme

 Good morning.  It's morning time for me.  1:53 am.  I'm  writing about yesterday.  I'd call it good fishing.  Nothing crazy, just steady scratch fishing for most of the day.  Same old grade, 14-22 pounders.  Same basic grounds.  It was a lot more fun than that sounds though.  Come on, good fishing on a good grade of fish.  What more could we ask for?  Better weather? OK.  But sometimes you get wind.  When life gives you lemons...  Seriously though, we had a whole lot of wind today.  Here's the thing though.  The boat drifted great.  We may have had over 20 knots of wind, but the boat drifted like we had 10.  A little wind burn and some chapped lips is all.  As long as the fish bite and no one gets hurt.

 Good fishing or not, we decided to take a break from that wind this afternoon.  We made a little move where the wind gets blocked by The Island.  What a difference.  I compared it to sitting in a spa.  Just that, aaahhhhhhhhh feeling.  We even caught some fish.  There were some spots of YT's up and at dark we caught 4 grouper, a halibut and a tail on a drift.  Then we anchored up for Seabass and had dinner.  We haven't caught a Seabass yet but we're hoping at or just before daylight we get some.  One boat had some around these parts yesterday.

 So that's it.  We'll be here again tomorrow.  20 minutes left on my watch and I'll be going back to bed for a few more hours.  Stay classy everyone and thanks for stopping by.
       

Hey everybody the voyager has another 1 day shallow water mexican coast trip set up for this saturday. We will be keeping everything under 200 feet! The bass fishing has been very fun in the kelp, along with shallow water reds! And all the other critters to go with them! The live squid has been abundant so we hope to make that to fish with for the trip. The trip is limited load to 16 passengers so act quickly!!! We are already up to 11 as of this morning!!  Here's what went down today.  Breakfast, then American Hustle(movie), then a whole lot of tuna leader making, then the Charger game.  Listen to this.  Our goofball crew member Mark Clark, well he claims to be a Raider fan but the only time he seems to care what they do is when they play the Chargers.  Myself and the rest of the crew usually bet 20 dollars on each game. Well today couldn't have played out better.  Prior to the start of the game he assumed we were betting and to rub it in that the Raiders are no good, I claimed I didn't want to bet because I'd feel I was taking money out of his sons pocket.  He insisted  we bet so we did.  I still had it planned out to give him his money back if the Chargers blew them out as the ultimate rub in.  So if you didn't know, it was a nail biter.  Mark missed the last couple minutes of the game and everyone on board made him think that the Raiders won.  He immediately came down to the galley and just absolutely let me have it.  I don't know
 how but I managed to keep a straight enough face to still have him think the Raiders won.  Ever since then he's been on cloud 9.  I don't know how and when I'll break the news and bring his reality crashing down to a major low.  I'm sure looking forward to it though.  He thinks he's up 120 bucks but more importantly to him he gets to talk all that smack. 

 Anyways, moving on.  It's cocktail hour now and soon we will be feasting on a veal chop.  One more day.  The weather is fantastic right now.  A beautiful sunset too.
