lower deschutes Fishing Report 2025

Report 7-23-2016 Good Evening everyone. We cleared the point today around 1 o clock with a beautiful load of mid sized sardines. Immediately we were in the midst of a weird local weather system consisting of a unusual south wind and a choppy south swell. The conditions made it a little rough for the first hour or so, but then started to calm down and we eventually we settled into a nice downhill ride for dinner. Coincidentally around dinner time we came across a couple schools of yellowfin tuna. We made a quick drift before first call and was able to hook and land one. We may have only landed one but the grade of the fish was excellent. A solid 18 lb Tuna, a very refreshing grade of fish compared to the 10 ponders we have been seeming earlier this summer. Hopefully there is something to this and it builds into a legitimate biting school of fish. Very excited to see what the next few days hold. Unfortunately our second to none fish care had the fish spiked, bled, and into the frigid RSW fish hold before the camera was able to make its way down from the wheelhouse. So no picture was taken.We are traveling down tomorrow and will start fishing bright and early.Wish us luck!Team supreme

Today’s charter group had a great time catching 5 yellowtail, 30 calico bass and plenty of shallow water bottomfish. However, 5 yellowtail is not going to pay the bills for an open party run. Tomorrow and Tuesday we will be fishing offshore targeting Tuna, yellowtail and mahi mahi. Come prepared with a variety of line sizes from 20-60 lb. might want to bring a popper or a colt sniper rod as well. No Passports required.

Scratched away for 16 wahoo. Weather is excellent. Didn't get much tuna until the end. We had fun kite fishing on frozen flying fish into the dark. We re-baited and have a good supply of bait tonight and have hopes of a better day in the morning.

We got 15 wahoo this morning. Our weather is outstanding. Just really great. Conditions are still good. We plan to start our fishing this afternoon around 4pm. And it will probably go on until 4 am.

Hello everyone, Today we had to work at it. The Yellowtail did not come easy, but we were able to piece it together with a couple flurries in the morning. For the most part the Yellowtail being tagged have been great size,18-35 lbs! In addition to the Yellowtail we we did land some beautiful grouper. Both Snowy and Leopard!. A great 8 day trip bonus! Polaris Supreme Report 07-25-2016 Hey everyone, Another beautiful day out here on the offshore waters of northern Baja. Today we searched for kelp patties, breeezers, and bird schools. We did very well finding kelp, however it just doesn't seem that the large volume of fish has moved in on them yet. Hopefully soon! Later in the afternoon we found a nice temp break that lead some exotic Dorado and Yellowtail, even a Sea Turtle popped got in on the action. The yellows were large and healthy, and the Dorado were a welcome sight and hopefully a good precursor to the warm water fish months ahead. Tomorrow we will be fishing for big yellowtail and maybe a seabass or two Wish us luck! Team Supreme
