This is a 2 day trip that fishes September 27-28 (departing the night of the 26th).This outing is limited to 16 anglers.
The unusual part of this trip is half the anglers will be fly fishers. If you conventional fish, this means you get the stern to yourself as fly rodders like the sideways drift of the boat and stay on the windward side. Fly rodders are the first in on the slide but based on
past averages, conventional will still out-fish us 5 to 1.
The trip is 670.00 and includes fishing permit, bunk and food. Drinks, crew tip and fish cleaning is extra.

Apollo docked December 9 at Fisherman's landing after an eight-day trip with just 11 anglers, who visited Alijos Rocks for some nice tuna fishing with skipper J.J. Gerritsen. Many large yellowtail were also caught.

Hello Everyone
Today we got to wet our lines for the first time in a few days. It was tough fishing but we did manage to scratch up some very good grade Wahoo and a few good Yellowtail.
The size may be right but the numbers are not cutting the mustard. We are headed to a new area tonight in search of better numbers tomorrow.

Yesterday we went out with 26 anglers. Final fish count for our day was 2 lingcod 2 sheephead 75 red rockcod and full Mexican limits of rockfish. Our next trip is Sunday February 10. Call Seaforth Sportfishing at 619-224-3383 for reservations.

Hello Everyone,
The weather was pretty rough last night and is still pretty choppy today. It does not look like we will have time to fish today.
Yesterday fishing was so good, we were able to enjoy the fruits of our labors with some freshly filleted yellowtail for today's lunch.
20- 30 lb fresh yellowtail for lunch, doesn't get much better than that!
We will be in San Diego tomorrow bright and early tomorrow morning.

The apollo is running a two day charter this weekend and needs two people. The trip is limited to only 20 people and departs on Thurs. night at 9pm and returns on Sat. night around 7pm. Nice travel day today! Good weather good company and great food. Oh yeah little bit a napping and to. Just rigged and traveled today will be arriving at our fishing grounds tomorrow. Looks like were going to have good weather for the next couple days. See you tomorrow.
